"This game has potential but needs some improvements. Having to click 'Enter' to start the game isn't enjoyable. In many games, the option to use the spacebar, enter key, or mouse click is provided, which enhances user experience. Additionally, some of the animations look subpar, although I appreciate the work done to improve the character in the new devlog. I also have some concerns about the puzzles, as they are not very engaging. Moreover, when Milo jumps and runs near waterfalls, the movement feels quite clunky and needs to be refined.

Best of luck with the further development of your game, and I hope it will be available on Nintendo Switch as well."

First off congratulations on the release of your game! It's a significant accomplishment that many indie developers never achieve, and you should be proud of your work. However, I would like to provide some constructive feedback to help improve the game.

Let's start with the positives - the game's atmosphere is fantastic and evokes a Zelda-esque forest and story in a platformer package, the exploration was very enjoyable. The enemy designs are varied and look great, especially the crystal enemy, which forces players to rethink their approach. The game's visuals and lighting are stunning.

However, the combat needs some improvement. Every time you attack, your character stops in their tracks, making the combat feel sluggish, and many of the enemy types feel too similar. While the crystal enemy is a highlight, the mushroom enemy feels like a reskin, and the slime doesn't add much variation to the combat even though it was added later in the level it is still fundamentally similar to the starting enemy. The exploration is great, but as it currently is it feels a bit linear, and the puzzles are simplistic and could benefit from more complexity in the full release. The NPCs lack character and feel flat.

Additionally, I encountered several bugs while playing, including being able to complete the game without any equipment, being able to stand in lava without taking damage, teleporting through the ground, and continuing to play after the game over screen, and much more.

Despite these issues, I believe the game has potential and could be a big hit with some mechanical polish. It's clear that you've put a lot of effort into the game, and I wish you the best of luck with its development!

For reference here is the video of the bugs I found. I apologize for the poor video quality youtube compression was not kind to me if you want to see the video in its original quality just let me know and I will see about sending it to you.

Hey jameslake1!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I appreciate you taking your time to share your thoughts and input on the game. I am planning on reworking the player extensively as well and look at adding more diverse encounters with enemies. The video quality is fine I can understand the areas you are highlighting that needs work so no worries there! Thanks again for sharing!
